Features and uses:

Weigela Pink Poppet® is a shrub belonging to the Caprifoliaceae family, with Japanese origins

A deciduous shrub with a compact habit, it produces a dark and opaque green foliage with an abundant tubular and fragrant pink-mauve flowering, between April and May.

Weigela Pink Poppet® is also called "nana" due to its slow and limited growth. It settles well in full sun and in partial shade, while if placed in total shade the bloom will be more scarce.

It is used in gardens for ornamental purposes, to create mixed flower beds, or to make planters. Some recommended combinations are: Photinia Little Robin, Nandina Fire Power, Abelia Sparkling Silver, Deutzia Gracilis, Cytisus Vanesse
