Features and uses:

Elaeagnus ebbingei is an evergreen shrub belonging to the eleagneaceae family and originated in Asia.

Very well known and widespread, the Elaeagnus ebbingei has a rapid growth and an upright posture. It has dark green lanceolate leaves on the upper page, gray-green on the lower page. It produces multiple small flowers with a delicious and delicate scent that bloom in September / October.

The Elaeagnus ebbingei is a rustic and resistant bush, does not require particular care and pruning is optional. It tolerates cold climates, warm climates, places rich in saltiness and places with poor water. It is an excellent plant for creating hedges and windbreaks, ideal both in public parks and in private parks.

Designers and landscape designers can give vent to creativity by also creating mixed hedges, with games of color and shape.
