Features and uses:

The Juniperus horizontalis Prince of Wales (Prince of Wales) is an evergreen conifer, belonging to the cupressaceae family, originating in North America, particularly Canada, later well developed in Asia and Europe.

It is a juniper ground cover that comes with a dense green squamiform foliage with gray shades. With the arrival of cold and frost, the small needles arranged opposite to the branch take on the purple tones.

Great in both private gardens and in public parks, thanks to its simple cultivation needs, it will give an elegant and refined look at the lawn. Juniperus hor. Prince of Wales fits well to every soil, even to the poorest ones, the important thing is that it is well drained. Better if placed in full sun or half shade.

It is particularly suitable for making mixed flowers, perhaps associated with other dwarf conifers of different appearance, both in shape and color, such as: Chamaecyparis l. Sunkist, Chamaecyparis Baby Blue, Juniperus hor. Lime Glow, Thuya occ. Miss Frosty. It is a dwarf conifera that lends itself well even as a single bush, in the middle of a meadow or in a rocky garden.
