Features and uses:

The Chamaecyparis pisifera Filifera Aurea is a Japanese conifer that belongs to the family of cupressaceae.

It is an evergreen conifer with a very compact ovoid shape, with a thick choma. Bright golden yellow needle leaves in winter assume bronze color shades.

Very resistant to drought and cold, Chamaecyparis pisifera Filifera Aurea prefers a sunny exposure to get more leaf coloring, but it also fits well into the half shade. Better if settled in a well-drained and fertile soil.

Thanks to its structure it is perfect for small gardens, where it can be planted individually or used in mixed flower beds. Its features make this dwarf conifer perfect even in public parks, where you can create borders, medium hedges or other dwarf conifers to create evergreen groups.
