Features and uses:

The Chamaecyparis obtuse Kamarachiba, is a dwarf conifera, belonging to the cupressaceae family. Its origins are in Japan, hence it is called Japanese cypress or Hinoki Cypress.

Its numerous persistent, small and thin leaves create a dense, green shiny hairline, tending to yellow in the spring-summer, while they take on a bronze color during the winter, showing spledids reflected in the sunlight.

It has an erect bearing and its growth is very slow, this makes the Chamaecyparis ob. Kamarachiba is perfect for small gardens, or planters to adorn terraces and balconies. It combines very well with different styles (rocky, alpine, formal, informal) and can be used to create small hedges, such as a single bush in the middle of the meadow or other dwarf conifers, with the help of either colored or white stones.

Very maintenance-friendly, this Chamaecyparis does not require mandatory pruning, is not dirty, is resistant to disease and if planted on the ground does not require demanding irrigation. It adapts easily to different types of soil, but it prefers a little moisture and good drainage

In the production of Greggio Vivai there are also other Chamaecyparis, including Sunkist, Sungold, Top Point, Baby Blue and many others.
