Features and uses:

The Chamaecyparis laws. Van Pelt's Blue belongs to the cupressaceae family and has been selected from Chamaecyparis Lawson.

The dense and persistent foliage, needles, appears initially gray-blue, then varies in gray-green. As a whole, it forms a typical conic conifer of cypress.

The Chamaecyparis Laws. Van Pelt's Blue prefers sunny or semi-shaded positions and grows well in fatty, chalky, sandy and clay soils. It is well-ground in alkaline, acid and neutral substrates. If cultivation takes place in optimum conditions the conifer will reach the height of 1.5 mt in the years.

It fits well in different contexts such as formal and informal gardens, rocky gardens, alpine or countryside gardens. Perfect in the center of a lawn or with other essences to form a colorful flowerbed that does not need care.
