Features and uses:

Miscanthus sinensis Adagio is an ornamental grass of Asian origin, belonging to the Poaceae family.

It appears like a clump of leaves very compact, with a raised limb, with an average growth that reaches a height of about 1.20 mt in adulthood.

Its leaves are very thin and the ends tend to curl up, from gray to green until autumn, when they turn yellow. While its inflorescence appears with numerous golden ears, when they mature they open and show feathers with silvery reflections.

This ornamental grass can be planted in both the sun and half shade, better than in well-drained soils. Its precious features make it a self-contained and costly garden, as it does not require fertilization, does not require constant irrigation, does not require plant protection treatments, and only one spring pruning is sufficient to remove the dry stubble.

The Miscanthus sinensis Adagio is ideal for adorning gardens, public parks and flowerbeds, and donating lightness, movement and sound to the exterior of any building. It can also be used to form beautiful insulated flower beds that will give a rustic but still contemporary appearance to any garden where they are inserted, and in the hands of a skilled gardener, can create elegant and refined landscapes for any type of terrace, for a boulevard or even for a patio, ensuring a great longevity.
