Features and uses:

Juniperus horizontalis Lime Glow is a dwarf conifera belonging to the family of cupressaceae, probably originating in North America.

The foliage of this dwarf conifer draws the attention of the observer to the garden, a color rich in facets, ranging from bright yellow to lemon green, touching bronze color during colder periods. It is a juniper that shows a narrow base, from which the long branches open, covering the surrounding soil.

The Juniperus horizontalis Lime Glow is very robust and durable, and is great for those who want to create an elegant green area but do not have time to dedicate it. In fact, the latter is not subject to disease, does not require accurate irrigation or fertilization, because it is perfectly capable of adapting to the poorest soils. Because of its small size it is not necessary to do pruning, except to give it the desired shape over time.

The appearance of this ornamental plant is very well suited to the creation of mixed flower beds, possibly associated with dwarf conifers of different shapes and colors, such as Chamaecyparis Filifera nana, Chamaecyparis Van Pelt's Blue, Junipersus hor. Prostrata, Thuya Tiny Tim. But not only! It is a good juniper though used as a border, perhaps along a cycle path, or even on sloping areas, or just as a single shrub positioned in the center of a meadow or surrounded by white gravel.
